Hey, you! Welcome back! I’ve gotten a few questions about how Poshmark Bundles work, so I’ve written a post that shares the 411 on Poshmark Bundling: How to bundle on Poshmark, why you should bundle on Poshmark, and of course, success tips! Keep on reading for the deets.
What Is A Bundle On Poshmark?
There are so many awesome features on Poshmark, and one of them is the bundle feature. Bundles are easy ways for buyers to purchase more than one item from a Poshmark closet with a set (or personalized) discount and only pay shipping fees once!
Why Users Bundle?
Buyers wanna get a good deal. Have you ever browsed someone’s Posh closet and “liked” several items but not been sold on the sale because of the price? Wouldn’t it be cool to find more than one item you love from another user’s closet and get a deal for purchasing them both? And only pay shipping fees once? Bundling is just that.
How To Bundle?
There are two ways that a seller can bundle, and similarly, two ways that a buyer can bundle.
If you are a seller:
Setting Bundle Discounts:
As a seller, you can choose how much (if any) of a discount you want to offer buyers that want to buy more than one item of yours. You can easily change this percentage or turn it off at any time through your settings.
How To Set Up Your Own Poshmark Bundle Discount:
- Open the Poshmark app
- Go to the bottom right and click your username
- Scroll nearly to the bottom to “My Seller Tools”
- Select “My Seller Discount”
Once you are successfully on this page you can choose the:
a. “Bundle Discount on my listings”
Toggle the button to turn your Poshmark Bundle Discount “on” (green button) and “off” (grey button)
b. “Discount Percentage”
Choose your Poshmark Bundle discount percentage. This can be anywhere from 5% to 30% off. Up to you!
c. “Minimum Items”
Select the minimum number of items a potential buyer has to “bundle” in order to qualify for a discount. i.e. 2,3,4 or 5!
What This Means:
You will notice that below these options it says, “Your bundle discount will be automatically applied at checkout to eligible bundle purchases from your listings – Closet or Boutique. Any change to the discount will not apply to completed bundle orders.”
This means that if you have the Poshmark Bundle feature enabled/turned on, any Poshmark user that adds x (your selected minimum amount of items) to their bundle order will receive your selected x % discount automatically.
i.e. Your set Poshmark Bundle discount percentage is 25% off any order of two or more items. A buyer comes to your Poshmark closet, “likes” two items and adds them both to their bundle. The buyer can purchase these two bundled items and automatically receive a 25% off discount.
POSHMARK PRO TIP: An important thing to remember about Poshmark bundles, is that the discount/percent off you choose to give buyers will come from YOUR pocket. So, if you give a 20% discount that means 20% off will be coming from the earnings you will be receiving. Keep this in mind to make reasonable discounts for not only your buyer but for you too! If you are trying to earn maximum profit, this is important to factor into your “fees.”
How To Personalize Special/Private Bundle Discount Offers:
When you get the notification that a potential buyer has added an item (or items) in your Poshmark closet to a bundle, you can send them a “personalized/special” bundle discount offer. To do this you:
- Click “View Bundle” either from the notification directly, or the “My Bundles” tab
- Hit “Offer” on the bottom right corner
- Select the discount you would like to give this customer for the items in their bundle
- Wait for them to accept, counter or deny! Hopefully, they click accept! : )
If you are a buyer:
You can receive an automatic discount while shopping if that seller has their Poshmark Bundle feature toggled “on,” and you’ve added items to a bundle. Or, you can add single or multiple items to a bundle to try and receive a special discount. Here’s how:
Automatically Receiving a Poshmark Bundle Discount
When shopping in a fellow Poshmark user’s closet, you can view their bundle discount by:
- Selecting any item in their closet
- Scroll down to the “Shipping/Discount” section
- If a Poshmark seller offers a Bundle Discount, this will be listed here as “Seller Discount.” It will then tell you the % off and how many items you need to have in your bundle to qualify for that discount.
If the Poshmark user’s closet you’re shopping in offers a bundle discount, you’re in luck! To get it:
- Go ahead and shop until you’ve found everything you want to purchase.
- Select each individual item you want to purchase and scroll down to select the “Add to Bundle” button
- Repeat step 2 until all of the items you want to buy are included in your bundle.
- Once you’ve added enough items to qualify for that Poshmark seller’s bundle discount you can either:
- Hit the blue “Buy Now” button to purchase everything at the set bundle discount. You will see on that same bottom line the discount you are automatically receiving. It will have a total purchase price of $xx amount (xx number of items in your bundle) and then the Seller Discount -$xx amount.
I.e. If the Poshmark seller’s automatic bundle discount is set to 10% off 2 or more items it would look like: ($18 [2 items] with Seller Discount: -$2.00 instead of the $20 it would have originally been)
– Each item is $10 and your original total is $20 with no discounts
– Once added to the described bundle discount above, your new total will be $18 - You can hit the “Offer” button to ask for an even more discounted price than their set bundle deal. This can be a total success or a negotiation with the seller. But hey, when I’ve offered a reasonable amount instead of their automatic discount, the offer was accepted!
- Hit the blue “Buy Now” button to purchase everything at the set bundle discount. You will see on that same bottom line the discount you are automatically receiving. It will have a total purchase price of $xx amount (xx number of items in your bundle) and then the Seller Discount -$xx amount.
Why Add Single or Multiple Items To A Poshmark Bundle?
You should do this method when either:
a. You want to purchase a single item from a Poshmark seller’s closet (as the automatic bundle discount is not yet available for just one singular item)
b. You want to buy multiple items from one seller’s closet and receive a discount when the seller doesn’t offer one. Or, you want to purchase multiple items without paying more than once for shipping fees.
To do this:
- Select each item you want to buy
- Hit “Add to Bundle” button until all items are accounted for
- Tap “Make an Offer” to ask your price!
How To Accept A Poshmark Bundle Offer
Once a bundle has been made by any of the above and you want to accept this price (as either the seller or the buyer), you will click the “Buy Now” or “Accept Offer” button on the bottom right. You will then proceed as normal *as a successful Poshmark user* and beautifully package your buyer’s goodies, or wait to receive yours in the mail!
Why Should You Offer Poshmark Bundle Discounts
If you’ve gotten this far, you might be wondering why you should offer Poshmark bundle discounts. It’s because being a reasonable seller is everything! If a Poshmark buyer is on the fence about buying one or more items from your closet, but it’s contingent on you giving them a small discount, wouldn’t you want to offer that and make a sale? I would!
By offering bundle discounts to buyers, this helps sway a buyer to purchase them from you, instead of another Poshmark seller who offers a deal. It doesn’t have to be monumentally discounted, even just 5% to 10% can make a difference for users. I mean, who doesn’t love receiving a discount?! And not paying more in shipping fees than you already have to!
**POSHMARK PRO TIPS**:
What To Do When A Buyers Adds Items To A Bundle
When a fellow Poshmark user adds an item or several to a bundle, go engage with them right away! Click on their bundle and send an offer! I’ve found that when a user is looking to purchase, they will be very actively trying to let you know by “shopping” around in your closet.
*MAKE A BUNDLE DISCOUNT SIGN*
This pro tip right here ^ has been my most successful strategy when offering a Poshmark bundle discount!
A bundle sign is essentially a beautiful image *ideally kept at the top of your Poshmark closet* that you can create to visually tell buyers that your closet is ready to sell, and you are willing to negotiate on prices! You can easily create a bundle discount sign for free in Canva. This sign will be added to your closet like a regular item, except it will not be for sale.
Picture This: If a user is going through your Poshmark closet and “liking” an item or (perhaps lots of items) but not adding them to a bundle, wouldn’t you want to let them know you’re open to offers? I do! You’re trying to sell your clothes, not keep them, and this can seriously speed up the process.
*Be sure to do this politely and in an acceptable manner, don’t just spam them with this sign repeatedly, or when they are not looking to purchase anything!*
HOW TO CREATE A BUNDLE DISCOUNT SIGN
Once you’re in a free design creator, decide what kind of message you what to get across to your buyer. Is it that you are open to offers of any kind? You are hosting a weekend flash-sale for 50% off? New buyers get free shipping?
It can be any of the above and more, but these are just some examples to get your ideas flowing!
Make the sign something bold and visually appealing – it’s all about how your market it! I’ve shared an example below!
When you’ve finished creating the sign, go ahead and download/save it to your device. From there, upload it to your Poshmark closet as you would a normal item, except be sure to select NOT for sale when creating the listing.
Re-share the sign often to be sure it is kept at the top (or at least the first three rows) of your closet. You spent all the time creating the offer sign, so you want to ensure your buyers see it almost immediately when clicking on your Poshmark closet.
What’s that? Oh hello there, sale!
SHARE THE BUNDLE DISCOUNT SIGN
Share, share and share some more! If you see a user engaging with your items by liking them over and over again, or by liking the same sizes of similar items, it’s likely the user is finding what items they want to purchase from your closet.
If you feel confident enough and that it’s warranted you share your sign (don’t be spammy with it!), then go ahead and do so! You can share the bundle discount sign you created to another user’s likes by:
- Clicking on your bundle discount sign
- Hitting “Share Listing”
- Selecting the “Search” button and typing in that specific potential buyer’s username. This will share the sign you created directly into their closet.
This can work for many different reasons:
- The buyer is new to Poshmark and does not know that the bundle discount feature exists. This gentle sign could be a nudge and “approval” for the user to submit an offer to you.
- The buyer wants to see what kind of discount you are willing to offer them. This helps them get a good idea if that desired item is within their budget, or if they feel you are approachable to negotiate a bit on the price.
I myself have personally purchased an item from a user who offered me a bundle discount without me asking. This automatically showed me that the seller was willing to negotiate the price. I ended up offering about $5 less than their original offer, and they accepted! I still own this cute (and v complemented) B-Low The Belt and Steve Madden sandals to this day! ✩
Tadaaaaah! You’ve now learned all about what the bundling feature is on Poshmark, how to create a bundle on Poshmark, how to use each of the bundling features on Poshmark, and even learned some pro-tips in the process!
Are you feeling more confident to offer a bundle on Poshmark or ask for your own bundle discount? I’d love to know if this Poshmark Bundles 101: How To, Why & Success Tips helped set you up on your journey to success!
If this post taught you something new, I would greatly appreciate it if you could please give this post some love! Re-pin or leave a comment with your feedback! Also, drop your Poshmark closet and I’ll check it out!
THANK YOU
OF COURSE! This makes me happy to receive this note so thank YOU for taking the time to read and comment! xx
Hi
I read this article but am still confused 🤪. I have had several buyers add only one item to a bundle (when I require 2). Are they just wanting me to send them an offer? I feel I have lost so many sales because they only put one item in their bundle! HELP!
Dawn
Hi Dawn!! I am so sorry for my delay – I just saw your message. Yes!! That is my thinking about it. It’s likely the buyers are looking for you to send them a private offer on the one item they added to their bundle. It could be their way of letting you know they are super interested – instead of just liking it. When this happens to me, I usually always send some type of offer, as sometimes we get lucky and they purchase the item! Let me know if you have more questions or this works for you – fingers crossed!
xx Gabriella
Hi! Thanks for all this helpful Poshmarking info. I’ve started to become obsessed with PM too! Is there any easy way to create a bundle for a buyer if they have liked several items from your closet and haven’t created a bundle themselves? Or is that bad form? I’ve done it before by sharing multiple items to the same buyer, but that seems harder than it should be. Thank you!
Hi Laura! Thank you so much for your comment and question. I’m smiling hearing that you’re also obsessed with Poshmark – it happens so quickly!! That method is currently the “best” way to create a bundle for a user who has liked multiple items in your closet but has not started a bundle yet themselves. To make it easier, perhaps write down their username in a note on your phone, copy it, and then for each item that you share with them, you can easily paste their name into the search bar. Maybe Poshmark will create an easier way to do this in the future!
I don’t think it is bad form to share the listings if they have liked several of your items. I would check out their profile info to see when they created their profile. If it is a new user, I would say it’s fine to share even just the one liked item to make a bundle. I would advise also sharing a “Bundle for a Discount” type of sign accompanying the item/items so that they can learn about what a bundle is and how it works. I find that most new users are still learning the ins and outs of the platform, so this can be beneficial for them (and you!) If you want to download these already made ~ and for free ~ I’ve created 10+ different “Bundle Signs” for Poshmark users to add to their own closets! You can access the images by filling in the pop-up for them on either of my Poshmark blog post pages. 🙂 Let me know if you download them, as I would love to check out which one you use!!
Lastly, if you wanted to go another route to notify the user of the bundle discount after sharing liked items, you can add a comment. In a bundle, Poshmark now lets you comment directly (and privately) to the user. You could let them know via this method as well.
I hope this helped and that you come back with any future questions or let me know of Poshmark topics you want answered! Fingers crossed for some bundle sales! xx Gabriella
Hi, thank you for all the helpful Information about Bundling on Poshmark. I had people add to Bundle but never respond to my reply. I understand the process better and will create Bundle signs for my closet. Thank you again.
Hi Pamela, thank you so much for leaving this comment! I’m thrilled to hear you understand the Poshmark bundle process better now after reading this post! I think closet signs definitely help bring awareness for new users to show bundles can be made for a better price. I hope it results in some new sales for you! My best and happy New Year! 🙂
Great article…so informative and really helpful. Question for you…I offer a 10% off discount for 3 or more items. Can I exclude certain items from my closet from the discount? There are certain items in my closet that I don’t want to discount. Please advise and thanks, in advance!
Hi Helen! Thank you kindly for saying so – that means a ton to me! As of now, there isn’t a way to exclude certain items from your closet from the said discount, although I think that’s a fantastic idea. Maybe we can let Poshmark know our thoughts on this feature update! 💕 Is there anything else you had questions on? I’d love to help if I can! Thanks again, and all my best to you!
Can I send only one item than someone liked thru Bundle instead of offering it the other way?
in other words: can I bundle single items?
Sometimes I have 10 likes, I sent offers to them but nobody bought it, then, to liker number 11 I want to offer a bundle so the other 10 likers don’t see it//…Is this okay?
Hi Mariah! I hope you’re great and my sincere apologies for the delay! Yes, you can totally only send or create a bundle for someone with one item! If the scenario you described happens, this is what I would do to make the offer to them privately.
1. Click the share button on the item they liked and instead of sharing it like normal, type in the user’s name.
2. Click their name and it will be sent to them in a bundle.
3. From here, you can leave them a comment and send an offer individually.
Hope this helps! xx Gabriella
Thank you for this article! I have a dual-offer situation and am wondering if it is bad form to let Person A know that the items they have in a bundle are also in Person B’s bundle?
Person B made an offer on their bundle, and I made a counter offer. Person A had reached out via comment to see if I would take X amount for the items, which I hadn’t yet seen (I am confused about how to find where a comment actually occurred after having received a comment notification, but that’s another story). I responded via comment letting them know I would take Y amount and I actually made the offer to them, and I included in the comment that the items were in Person B’s bundle with an active offer. I mentioned my intent was not to pressure, but to let them know someone else was interested (that really is my intent! I feel like I would want to know?).
Is it proper etiquette to advise people that others have active offers on same items?
Hi! Thank you for your comment! I’m happy you reached out. And thanks for explaining this so clearly! Okay, so, I don’t think that it’s bad etiquette to let two buyers with the same items (or item) in their bundles know that it’s currently active in another person’s bundle. I agree with you that I would likely want to know. If someone told me this when I had an offer on a bundle, I would likely act quickly and purchase if I really wanted it. I know your comment was from this morning – did either of the two buyers accept the offer? I hope so! 🙂
Also, in regards to your second note about where to look to find a comment that occurred after you receive the notification. Do you mean that you can’t find the comment again? If so, in your Poshmark app on the bottom right side, there is a bell icon called “news.” If you click on it, you can scroll down until you see the notification about the comment on an item. You can find where the comment happened when you click on the notification. It will take you to where the user left you a note. Whether that is publically on your item’s post or privately in a bundle. Please let me know if that makes sense, or if I can clarify further. I’d love to help explain! Thanks!
Best,
Gabriella xx
Hey Gabriella, This article was super helpful. But I have a question. Sorry for asking if this was already covered but I need some clarification.
As a buyer, am I able to “bundle” from different sellers? ie: Seller A has the sweater I want and Seller B has the jeans I want. Can they be bundled? Or are bundles only available from one seller at a time?
Thanks for your help.
Hi Lisa, I’m so glad to hear my article was super useful to you – thank you! No need to be sorry at all, I’m more than happy to help clarify. Unfortunately, Poshmark does not let a buyer create one bundle from different sellers. So the scenario you listed out would not be possible.
However, this doesn’t mean that you can’t have bundles from numerous sellers at once! For instance, you can bundle a pair of jeans and shoes from one seller and also have a separate bundle in a different seller’s closet for a sweater and shorts. I hope that makes sense! Please let me know either way – I’d love to be a continuous resource for you on your Poshmark journey. 😊 Thanks!
My best,
Gabriella
Hello! Thank you for your blog. It has been very helpful as a new Posher. I do have a question??? When you do have a 50% bundle discount does the percentage come off automatically? or does the seller add the discount someho. Just not sure how this works. Thank you
Hi Donna, I’m so happy to hear that this post was helpful for you – thank you so much!! Yes, that’s exactly how it works. When you have a bundle discount set up for your closet (regardless of the percentage) it will take it off when a buyer adds the required amount of items to their bundle. For example, if you offer 50% off a bundle of three items discount, and I add three items to a bundle in your closet, Poshmark will automatically show me the discounted price. Please let me know if that helps answer your question, but you were spot on about how it works! I hope you’re enjoying Poshmark so far – how has your experience been as a new user? Happy to clarify how anything else works!
My best, xx.
I found your article very helpful – thanks! I had been wondering why people would add only one thing to their bundle, and now I know why, and what to do about it!
Here is the scenario I have a question about: Someone has made a bundle and I’ve made them an offer on it, but they haven’t accepted the offer (it’s now been 11 hours) and now someone *else* made an offer on one of the items in the bundle. Is it in bad taste to accept the offer?
Thank you so much! I’ve been trying to figure out what to do about this for a few hours!
Hi Anna! I hope you’re awesome and my sincerest apologies for the delay!! I’m sure you did just the right thing in this scenario – it’s sweet of you to not be sure what’s best to do in terms of honoring what offer. I’ve definitely done the same thing (and continue to do so, haha) so love to hear that we are similar!! Did the first person you sent the bundle offer to end up accepting it or did it go to the second?
I think it’s in good conscious to give the first person a little bit of time to accept the offer, but don’t think it’s in bad taste to end up selling it to another buyer after some time has gone by. I personally would’ve done the same thing as you and waited a few hours to think about what to accept. I’m interested to hear how it played out and hope to hear from you!
Also, thank you so much for your kind words. I’m so glad that this article helped you learn more about bundles. Happy to answer any other questions or scenarios (I promise to be prompt to reply this time!!) you have about Poshmark. 💖
My best xx,
Gabriella
Hi, I had someone do a bundle after they purchased the first item. Is it possible to just offer free shipping and pop the item in the first box that you haven’t sent yet? They are super new to Posh and didn’t know how it worked. I’m new and trying to understand.
Then they came back and bundled 2 new items but I somehow only accepted their first item, which sold it and wouldn’t let me sell the 2nd item. So frustrating.
What am I doing wrong? When I get the bundle notice, what’s the first thing to do? I Have now created a 10% off for 2 bundled items. I appreciate your sharing of knowledge. :). Patty. @pkayne11
Hi Patty,
I hope you’re well! Thanks so much for reaching out to ask for some insight, and my sincerest apologies for the delay!! Of course, please find answers to your questions below.
1. You can absolutely offer free shipping on any item you like, although you cannot place the free shipping item into a box from a different purchase. To break this down a little bit using your scenario. Let’s say the buyer purchases a shirt and then comes back moments later and adds a hat and jacket to a bundle. You can offer them free shipping on the hat and jacket, but you need to ship that package separately from the shirt they purchased. That’s because every order (regardless of it’s its one or more items) needs to have the accompanying shipping label that goes with it. So, the hat would go in its own box with its own label, and the hat and jacket would go in a box with its own label. I hope that makes sense!
2. So strange! I know this was a while back, but did it say that the second item in their bundle was “sold,” or did it just sell the first and never register that they were together? I’d love to hear what the case was as I can share some insight depending on the situation.
Whenever I get a bundle notification, I always wait at least a few hours to make sure the buyer has a chance to browse the rest of my closet and add any other items to their order. Now that Poshmark has a comment feature within bundles, you can always reach out to make sure everything they had their eye on is there before accepting/making an offer.
Please let me know if this helped, and I so hope you’ve been enjoying Poshmark. Bundles can certainly be confusing, so let me know if you have any more questions!
Also, I just found your Poshmark closet and shared a bunch of your listings. The Ava & Aiden heels are so cute – I might have to make an offer on them! 🙂
My best,
Gabriella
Hey ! Hello! Hi!
I’m curious how to split a big bundle for shipping? I sold 50 pc bundle and am wondering the correct way to print proper labels with overweight??? 33 Lbs in total
Hi!! Thank you so much for your patience, and wow how amazing to sell that many items!! For any order you sell that weighs over five pounds you must upgrade the shipping label according to how heavy it is. To do this you will open the Poshmark app and click your account tab on the bottom right corner and find the “My Sales” button. Find the order that you want to upgrade the shipping label for, and select the “Need/New Shipping Label” and then click “Need Heavier Weight Label” and input how the weight of the shipment (in you case the 33 pounds.) This will then email you a new shipping label that you’re able to use to send everything out in one package that weighs over five pounds! Please note that the additional cost of the upgraded label will come directly out of the seller’s pocket, so you might notice the amount you earned will lower. I hope this helps you, and please let me know how everything turned out! My best, and please stay safe. xx

I have a question for you. Maybe you already explained this in a round about way but I am new to Poshmark. I sold an item yesterday and then today the same person added another item to a bundle but I can’t figure out how to not charge them for shipping twice if I send it in the same box. I know when you hit the offer button on the bottom all of the options come up. But if I take off the shipping for that item it shows my earnings going down because it seems to take the shipping out of my pocket. Is this how it’s supposed to go or am I doing something wrong. Any info would help! Thank you!
Hi Haylee! I’m so glad you reached out to ask me for advice, I’m flattered!
If I’m reading this correctly, the person yesterday made a purchase and wants to make a second purchase today through a bundle? If so, you will have to use two separate shipping labels and boxes because each order is different. You’re correct that if you make an offer and choose to lower the shipping for them, it will cut into your profit. So in this instance, if they make another purchase from your closet, you will have to send it out individually per order. It’s up to you whether you want to offer them reduced shipping via that method and take the cost out of your pockets.
If they had used the bundling feature originally to add both/all of the items they wanted to buy to their order, you would have been allowed to use one box, and they would have only paid for shipping once. You are doing everything correctly, it’s just that they might not have known that purchases made at separate times (whether in a bundle or not) will result in numerous orders. For example, if they bundled three items and bought them and then came back the next day and bought one item, you would have two unique and separate orders. Poshmark tracks each order by the label, so orders have to be sent with the items they purchased in a transaction and with the accompanying shipping label. Because one box can’t use two shipping labels at once. Does that make more sense?
Here’s my tip to make buyers happy with reduced shipping that doesn’t take out of your pocket. Lower the price of your item by at least 10% when Poshmark hosts “Closet Clear Out” or “CCO” to trigger reduced shipping for a certain amount of time. This feature is extremely useful for a win-win situation.
I hope this helped make it a bit more clear, and please let me know if you’d like me to explain it in another way! I’m more than happy to, as I know it can be confusing when not talking in person. Good luck, and keep me posted! 👍
xx Gabriella
This was a super helpful guide on bundles. I have definitely been putting the time into learning how Poshmark REALLY works. Bundling did take more time than other areas of the app for me to understand; however, after a few searches into How Bundling Works, I found your site, and this article, and it has made the entire process so much clearer. I appreciate the help you provided me! Thanks so very much! 🛍
This is so sweet and I am SO happy to hear that!! Bundles definitely take time to understand – I didn’t use the feature for months and once I saw how awesome it was I wanted to help others use it strategically too! I’m beyond pleased this article made Poshmark’s bundle process clearer and easier for you – woohoo!! I hope you’ve made some awesome sales from it. 😋
You are more than welcome and thank YOU for taking the time to share your sweet feedback!! 💘 I’d love to serve as a resource for any other questions or topics on Poshmark you want to learn more details about – feel free to ask!
