Clean Beauty Gifts 2019: Skincare Lover Edition
For convenience, each product is rated with a symbol from $-$$$ for affordability.
- Ilia Beauty Liquid Eyeliner: $$ ($28)
Okay, this is THE BEST clean liquid eyeliner on the market. I know, it’s a bit of a hefty price, but it is worth EVERY penny! First, it dries within about ten seconds or less. Second, when you try to rub it off as hard as you can, it does NOT smudge! SERIOUSLY! A game-changer to not have smeared or rubbed off eyeliner! Plus, the size of the tool gives you plenty of ability to make the line come to life as you see fit. - One Love Organics Vitamin B Cleansing Oil + Makeup Remover: $$ ($42)
If you’re looking for a new cleanser, face wash, or makeup remover, this is the holy grail. This clean product seriously removes all traces of makeup. Yes, even waterproof and layers upon layers of makeup! Most importantly, this product is perfect for all skin types. Especially for those with dry, dehydrated or mature skin. Oh, and this smells heavenly too! Your sig. other will be kissing your face like crazy! BTW – this brand ensures its products are certified natural and up to environmentally friendly standards.
P.S. If you aren’t committed to taking your makeup off at night, please read this to tell you 5 reasons why you need to! - Ilia Beauty Limitless Lash Mascara: $$ ($28 full size or $13 mini)
An incredible non-toxic, clean mascara! This is great for those with sensitive eyes as it lightly but powerfully builds beautiful lengthy lashes! No clumps and eyelashes for days! Get the mini version if you want to gift as a stocking stuffer or pack as a travel item! - False Eyelash Glue: $ ($10)
This may seem like an overlooked gift, but this will be so appreciated by the beauty lover! Wearing falsies out is always a blast, but getting yucky chemicals in your eyes while gluing them on is not. This tiny non-toxic eyelash glue dries clear and will do wonders! A must swap item! - Native Deodorant: $ ($15)
This is one of my go-to non-toxic deodorants. The Coconut Vanilla scent is heavenly. I promise you will get compliments on how lovely you smell. This glides on smooth and has a great texture. Above all, it really covers smell *hallelujah* and doesn’t contain any parabens or aluminum – because we don’t want those on our bodies! Wear all day long! - Zoya Non-toxic Nail Lacquer: $ ($9)
If you’re looking for a long-lasting, vegan, non-toxic nail polish, Zoya is a fantastic option for you. I’ve tried several “free-from” brands, and this by far lasts the longest of all. This polish is 5Free. Meaning it has no formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, toluene, dibutyl phthalate or camphor. Even better, Zoya has hundreds of colors to choose from. You can’t go wrong! Perfect as a stocking stuffer for a mani-pedi obsessed friend. - Juice Beauty SPF 30 Sport Sunscreen: $ ($16)
This reef-safe (save the ocean, please) body and face sunscreen are great for the entire family to use and love! It’s water-resistant for up to 80 minutes. No need to worry when swimming laps or dunking in the sea. This creamy sunscreen rubs in clear within seconds and has a nice mild smell to it. Not like those awful toxic ones! I have this permanently living at my office desk to remind me to wear it every single day. In addition, it’s perfect for globe trotters and travelers as this is a 3 oz. bottle, but still gives you endless applications! - Isle of Paradise Self-Tanning Mousse: $$ ($29)
This is for my fellow pale-skin, alabaster beauty queens! If you’re looking for an amazing, bronzed glow, this is the self-tanner you NEED in your life! This brand is vegan, cruelty-free and gluten-free. As a result, it works so well and never leaves any streaks, sisters. Which is so rare for self-tanners nowadays! Because it’s made with avocado oil, coconut oil, and chia seed oil, it actually smells GOOD. Which we all know is quite rare. I basically haven’t had a real tan since I was a child, but I rely on this to get the effortless look I’m going for. - Bawdy Butt Mask: $ ($10)
A hilarious (and desired) secret Santa or white elephant gift. This sheet mask is literally for your behind. It comes in four different varieties. One to help retexturize, firm, tone and hydrate. Pro tip: lay down while applying and for the duration of the mask! Who doesn’t want to at least try this?! - Jenny Patinkin Rose on Rose Face Roller: $$ ($38)
We all want to own a rose quartz rose gold roller. Say that five times fast. A lot of comparable rollers are flimsy. But this one is actually STURDY. And it holds the weight that feels great in your hands. This tool seriously helps wake up your face in the morning. It rids puffiness, boosts circulation for an added glow, and might even lift the skin! Using this roller has quickly become a self-care necessity for beauty lovers around the globe. Plus, it comes in an adorable and velvety soft pink travel case!
There you have it, my friend! I hope this Clean Beauty Gift Guide for 2019 helps you pick out the perfect gifts! If you live in a city where Credo or The Detox Market is (like NYC), you can pick up some of these gifts in the store – what fun! ☺

Happy holidays, babe!

There are a lot of great products listed here and I am guessing all of these companies meet your standards of clean and sustainable. I just saw that Native deodorant is packaged in cardboard rather than plastic. I’ll bet people like you who help the rest of us figure out which products are worth supporting had something to do with that very positive change! Please keep the great recommendations coming and let’s hope more companies make the decisive move away from plastic! xx
All of these companies are amazing! Many of these products are sold at clean beauty stores that have stringent high standards for brands, which is always a great sign. Yes!! Native did just release several of its deodorants into eco-friendly packaging and it is incredible to see companies take the lead on making the switch. Awwwww! Thank you so much for saying so!! 😊 😊 I’m excited to share more awesome brands that care about the environment and what ingredients they use to make those products. Can’t wait for you to keep reading and supporting!! Fingers crossed more companies cross that sustainability bridge!! xx
